Forma
Design festival website
An identity and website for a four-day design festival in Portland, Oregon, built on one variable typeface and three basic shapes.
Self-initiated project. The festival, speakers and prices are fictional.

A festival needs a new poster every year and still has to look like itself. The identity must hold up on a poster, a ticket and a phone screen, and a program of around forty events has to stay easy to scan.
The word FORMA is set in letters of different widths from one variable typeface, next to a circle, a square and a triangle. The same shapes mark event types in the program and appear on the tickets, so the system works even without the logo. The program is one list per day with filters, and tickets can be bought without an account.
