Challenge
Nobody wants to read a timetable. Travelers want to know when to leave, where to change trains and whether they’ll make the connection.
Approach
Search works as you type, with no button, and ignores diacritics, so “cakovec” finds Čakovec. Routes with changes are computed in the browser using the Connection Scan algorithm, and the chosen route lights up on a schematic network map.
What we designed
- Station search that ignores diacritics
- Routes with changes and tight-connection warnings
- Schematic network map with the chosen route
- Croatian and English interface, sharing and calendar export
