Setly
Money app for US freelancers
A money app for US freelancers that keeps income, invoices and quarterly estimated taxes in one place, and always shows how much is set aside for tax.
Self-initiated project. Setly is a fictional brand, and the clients and figures on screen are illustrative.

US freelancers pay tax in advance, four times a year, and have to estimate the amount themselves. Set aside too little during the year and April brings a bill you weren’t expecting, plus penalties for paying late.
The home screen answers two questions: how much have I set aside for tax, and what do I owe next? A bar compares what’s set aside with the estimated tax, and each quarterly payment shows its due date and the federal and state amounts. Invoices are written next to a live preview, and clients pay by card or bank transfer straight from the invoice.
